All of us at the coffee club have cast our vote for Mitt Romney; all except one and we know who that is. So that makes us 99% for Mitt!
Also discussed was my comment on how a person who gets a Nobel peace prize (Obama) for doing nothing really, and has a KILL list for drone strikes? How we have lost our minds!
The desert is cooling down now too! Brads been flying up a storm so things are really starting to get nice out here again. Finally, the summer is behind us.
I saw a great bumper sticker the other day "NoBama", I want one...

List of the quakes and magnitudes...
over 200 earthquakes since Sunday at 10 AM
OK... well this has been an excited 24 or so hours with over 200 earth quakes as you can see from the picture above. I felt at least 5 of them, rollers I would call them. But Westmoreland, Calipatria, Nilands, Salton City, and Brawley got hit. Brawley being the worst of it. I talked to a physicist friend today who lives at the Salton Sea too, he said the last time anything like this ever happened was in 1970 outside Mexico City... over 200 quakes and a farmers corn field turned into a volcano! So, ring side seat here to see what happens next.!!! Get your bug out bags ready and don't park the cars in the garage!

Why I'm still voting democratic!
For a fair an balanced approach at the North Shore College of Knowledge, and especially for Dennis when he reads this blog I have included the reasons why I will vote on as a dem this year... here they are..
1. I voted Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever
I want. I've decided to marry my German Shepherd.
2. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a
gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of
gas at 15% isn't.
3. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job
of spending the money I earn than I would.
4. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody
is offended by it.
5. I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and
I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers
and thieves.
6. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if
it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt
away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
7. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about millions of babies
being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
8. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free
health care, education, and Social Security benefits, and we should take
away the social security from those who paid into it.
9. I voted Democrat because I believe that businesses should not be
allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give
the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.
10. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the
Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never
get their agendas past the voters.
11. I voted Democrat because I think that it's better to pay billions for their oil
to people who hate us, but not drill our own because it
might upset some endangered beetle, gopher or fish.
12. I deleted this one as it was offensive to me and didn't address the redistribution of wealth... bad people.. the rich need to pay their fair share of taxes too... I might remind those dirty bastards who got rich off the sweat of the poor ... Go Obama!

Man robbed outside bank branch in Baldwin Park
Another case in point. If we outlaw banks altogether then this would not have happened. I feel sorry for the robbers as they were in obvious need of the cash that I'm sure was extracted from a bank account owned by a rich dude. Redistribution of wealth at it's finest hour and I think Obama should help to find the poor gentlemen in the get away car. The victim, if you want to call him that, should have the IRS look into how he made his money and had the ability to get cash out of the bank. What was he going to do with that cash? Why not write a check? Makes one wonder what illegal thing he was planning to do. I wonder if he is married and does his wife know where that money was going? This has almost become a victimless crime as the money, which I'm sure was gotten off the backs of the poor and helpless, is now redistributed to those who really need it. You have to love being a democrat! I will bring this up to the north shore college of knowledge to see what wisdom they can shed on the topic.
Man robbed outside bank branch in Baldwin Park:
Man robbed outside bank branch in Baldwin Park:
BALDWIN PARK -- A man was robbed of an envelope full of cash after leaving a bank Thursday, officials said.
A man had just withdrawn a significant amount of money about 10:15 a.m. from Chase Bank, 14483 East Ramona Boulevard, and was getting into his car in the parking lot when he was approached by a robber, Baldwin Park police Sgt. Mark Harvey said.
As the victim was getting into his car, the suspect reached over the car door and snatched an envelope full of money the victim had placed in his shirt pocket, the sergeant said.
The robber took the money and ran to a nearby car with a waiting driver, which sped away, police said.
Officials described the man who grabbed the money as Latino, 19-20 years old and with light brown hair. He wore a light blue T-shirt and blue jeans.
The driver was described only as wearing thick, black glasses.

Rattlesnake bites 12-year-old camper in Angeles National Forest
OK... nanny state again... we should outlaw rattlesnakes! We can't go outside for they might bite us. We should author a law and put it forward to outlaw rattlesnakes. Especially the ones that can bite on full auto and quick reload. There is no reason to be able to bite more than once so I think they are an evil thing for the general public. Another thought might be to dispose of the individual that got bit as they must be stupid and need the feds help! I hope the little girl is ok... but those snakes... evil...I will present this to the north shore college of knowledge team!
Rattlesnake bites 12-year-old camper in Angeles National Forest:
Rattlesnake bites 12-year-old camper in Angeles National Forest:
ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST -- A 12-year-old girl was taken to a hospital after a snake bit her on the foot Friday, county fire officials said.
Sheriff's Lt. Tonya Edwards said the minor was at a camp and it was reported as a rattlesnake bite.
Michael Pittman, supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, said firefighters were called to the incident at Angeles Crest Highway and Sulfur Springs Road about 6 p.m.
He said the girl was flown by helicopter to a hospital.
